Pros

Paycheck was on time. I met a couple of nice people.

Cons

No opportunities exist, only for nepo babies. No training, little to no chance to grow as a professional. The org was flattened years ago to reduce expenses. Your skills / knowledge and abilities account for nothing here. Below market salaries with a refusal to change. Refusal to deal with poor performers so very few even try, as there is no reason to be concerned. Unchallenging and boring work. Competitors are making inroads in all product segments and recruiting good employees away with better pay and benefits Take what you can from this place, move on and grow and challenge yourself

Pros

Not working for them is the only pro. No pros, this is the worst company!!!!! Shame on me for being with this company for 12 years. If you are a spineless yes-man, then this might be a good fit, but if you any dignity and self-respect, run away!!!!!!!

Cons

They only care about shareholders and the franchisees in the white trucks. In some situations, you could be competing with a snap on franchise truck for a sale and snap on will give it to the truck 99.9% of the time. They don't have a vehicle program, so you have to pay for your own gas, and all other vehicle related expenses. Your guarantee pay can go down if you have a bad year, which is ridiculous, considering the base pay would have been acceptable in the 1970's. Even the high end of the guarantee pay is only $39K, with no cost-of-living increases. Incompetent lower, middle, and upper management. They hire guys to be product specialists with no experience. Rigid company policies with no flexibility. The HR department only acts in the best interest of the company with no consideration for the employees. For a company this size, the health insurance premiums are really expensive. Too many cons to keep writing.
