Pros
Met some nice people. Cheap coffee. Paycheck never bounced.
Cons
Not enough staff to build competitive products, because why bother actually getting things done? Pension? Not all locations offer it and It's not going to provide you much for the golden years. Poor performers everywhere, and you’re stuck playing unpaid babysitter to the walking dead. Motivated staff seeking challenges typically don't stay. Low stress, low responsibility, low paying. Salary bands are in a time capsule. 'Meh' benefits that aren't cheap. Cult like culture vibe to make you question reality. Training and new systems? Nope, just the same ancient systems that aren't going to help you build your skills / resume. Want to grow? You’ll learn on your own while your boss pretends to care. Promotions? Only if you’re lucky enough to be a nepo baby, otherwise, enjoy the eternal bench. Competitors are now in every segment and taking market share rapidly. The majority of the staff have an AARP card and are completely out touch.
