Soar Technology offers opportunities for interesting work and it has great perks offering competitive salary and incentives that include healthcare, 401K matching, paid time off, and technical skill development.
Cons
SoarTech doesn't demonstrate any real interest to transition its research into industry. Despite its 20 years of existence and millions of dollars in government-funding, SoarTech can only point to 1-2 cases where their research became a program of record or industry product. The most disappointing part about SoarTech is the rate at which they fire/let go/layoff employees to the detriment of current government projects for which they are contracted to fulfill. Some days can be on par with "The Red Wedding," if you get the reference. That's worth considering if you are thinking about relocating to work with them.
