Pros

Solid solution People seem excited to be there (for the most part) Opportunity for growth They don’t really micromanage you. Flexible work hours

Cons

I’m not sure how I feel about Socure yet. When I started a 9ish months ago people were more excited about the company and their work but that definitely took a turn recently. Everyone explicitly tells other people how much they have on their plate and how burnout they are which doesn’t seem to be a good sign when you hear that across all teams. That’s concerning. The company is doubling in size in 2021 and they expect the company to grow even more in 2022 but I’m not sure they are taking care of their employees as much as they used to. Everyone dumps everything on you and the perks and salary that once felt like good pros aren’t that great anymore. They are taking away the WFH allowance and the salaries arent as good as other companies in the industry. The company doesn’t have a lot of diversity Some higher ups are rude to lower level employees The company is not keeping up with volume of work coming in with the growth. Most people are very overworked.

Pros

One of the highest-performing companies I've ever worked for. There is a strong culture of collaboration, accountability, and winning, with teams genuinely supporting one another to achieve shared goals. The company provides tremendous opportunities for both personal and professional growth, and you're surrounded by talented people who challenge you to continuously improve and succeed.

Cons

The same qualities that make this a great place to work may not be for everyone. Success here requires a high degree of ownership, initiative, and self-motivation. This is not an environment for passive contributors; you are expected to lead, solve problems, drive outcomes, and proactively navigate obstacles. The pace is fast, expectations are high, and there is a constant sense of urgency around execution and winning. While you have the resources and support of a larger organization, you're expected to operate with an entrepreneurial mindset and run your area of responsibility like it's your own business.
