Pros
This will be the last job I have in my life. With at least 15 years to go to retirement there’s no way I’ll be leaving SofterWare. Since day one of my employment I’ve been encouraged to learn, take on additional responsibilities, given space to make my own decisions, make a difference in not only the employee’s careers, but change the world in how we help our clients exceed their own missions. Every day we have the opportunity to improve and make changes that meet our goals. I’ve been given the chance to learn, even more so, how business works, with training, collaboration, and feedback. The environment is non-judgmental and we all work to improve both personally and professionally. I have the flexibility to work from home if needed, put my family first, and still contribute every day. SofterWare is focused on improving the employee experience knowing that ultimately it will help the business grow and make the company more successful. SofterWare gives more than it takes from its employees and it makes everyone want to be better and work harder because of it. We work daily to live by our Values which makes us as individuals more well-rounded working at our best. Employees are empowered to learn and it’s a big focus for the company to arm us with the information so that we can make good decisions. It’s a fun place to work, there are a lot of laughs in company meetings as well as team meetings. It’s about the people, and enjoying what we do. I’ve recommended four people to work at SofterWare and each of them couldn’t be happier to be here. It’s the place to be, trust me you won’t regret it, not for a minute.
Cons
As we grow and continue to have success there is a need to hire more employees. I think that we could find better ways for everyone to know all employees and their roles. You never know what talents your coworkers have that you could tap into when needed.
