We’re so glad you’re appreciating some of the benefits we provide at SofterWare, such as the ability to work remotely from various locations, and our summer hours program. Regarding the comment that our managers don’t micromanage, we have found that since we hire great people, we don’t have to! Our managers prefer to let our professional teams just do what they do so well. Of course, managers are there to help clear obstacles, answer questions and support them in any way they need and prefer.
We also appreciate hearing your concern about the summer hour program only applying to non-critical roles. For many years, we’ve offered the ability for staff to work an extra hour each day and take 4 hours off on Friday or Monday during the summer. This year we expanded it so they can work 2 hours extra each day and have a whole day off Friday or Monday. This new expansion came from requests our staff made, as do many of the new programs we introduce. Your comment provides us valuable feedback, and we’ll take this into consideration to see if we can identify a solution for your concern when evaluating the results of this new benefit.
