Pros

I've been at Softrams for almost five years and since I started I haven't looked back or elsewhere for opportunity. Softrams has a great no-nonsense culture and is the first place where you can actually speak to anyone in the company about anything and have a collaborative experience. At Softrams I have NEVER felt as if I were just an employee number but I have felt as a valued member of the team. I have explored various third-party learning activities and Softrams embraces continued learning with it's Yearn to Learn program. The program is open to everyone at the company! My favorite event to date has to be during interviews where I'm asked why are we so happy! - No-nonsense Culture - Innovative Atmosphere - Team Collaboration - HR Team Second to NONE - Great work/life balance - Benefits - Remote work is engaging with teammates - Continued Education - Referral Bonus (It's very generous) PS... looking for a company where you're valued? Head over to the career page and apply! - REAL Open Door Policy - Hard work is valued and rewarded Now, I'm going to be open about cons in the next section but I cannot stress enough how many times I've been asked about skeletons and what are the "gotchas" after joining from an interview. I have always specified there aren't any and they're astonished after onboarding to find out, it simply is just true.

Cons

There are only a few items that I believe anyone outside looking in would find as a con. - Fast Paced Environment. We work at a very rapid pace which is challenging but rewarding. - Had an issue with Insurance Coverage. Softrams HR handled it within less than 10 minutes!

Pros

Loved working with my team and the pace is fast enough to keep things interesting, but slow enough to not lose your mind as a dev.

Cons

Despite the full day meetings every quarter, really nothing bad at all.

Pros

The company is strong on technical savvy and developing it in its employees. If your goal is to develop tech savvy and be respected for it, they will pay for training and certifications to develop it. They also have a "Demo Day" twice a year, for internal developers to showcase the new technology initiatives (IP) that they are developing. They develop some pretty forward looking IP.

Cons

For all the emphasis that they put on technology and hard skills, they don't do the same with communication and soft skills. Management and leadership easily comes down to treating employees like children rather than adults, which stifles personal initiative.
