Pros

It's an OK place to work if you make it through the acquisition, which very few of you will do.

Cons

Solenis is a private equity hellscape that achieves little organic growth and depends on acquisition after acquisition to make the books look better. If you get absorbed by acquisition, I have three words for you: Get. Out. Now. They will suck every bit of life out of you during their poorly managed, quick and dirty integration, all while lying to your face that you're a valued member of the team. As soon as they are finished with you, out the door you go. This especially applies to anybody in an administrative position such as accounting, AP, AR, purchasing, IT...at least 80% of you will get the boot eventually.

Pros

As a new hire, my experience so far has been extremely positive. The onboarding process has been organized and welcoming, and it's clear that Solenis is investing in growth and innovation. The team has been supportive, collaborative, and genuinely committed to helping new employees succeed. There is a strong sense of purpose across the organization, and it's energizing to be part of a company with ambitious goals and opportunities for professional development.

Cons

As with any growing organization, there are areas where processes are still evolving. Learning how all the different teams and systems connect can feel overwhelming at first. The pace of change may require flexibility and adaptability, especially for those coming from more established or structured environments.

Pros

Paycheck, decent (Though expensive) insurance and good PTO (If you can take it). Coworkers and technicians are exceptional.

Cons

Absolute absence of work/life balance, PE company focused on keeping SG&A costs to a bare minimum and unwilling to increase headcount to handle increased business, no training program, no coherent plan for cruise business investment, no regard given to feedback to director level, say that comp time is given but it is impossible to claim with volatile environment. Did I mention the expectation of 24/7 availability for contact and work availability? Run, do not walk, away from these people.
