Pros

The only pros working at this company were the peers. Soelra does has an amazing suite of products and if they can get their act together could be a force in the automotive industry.

Cons

The negativity stemmed from the top down. Solera has gone through a few reorgs of upper management in an attempt to get it right, but have failed every time. The owner leads with passion but a military style and he can often been seen berating people in his attempt to motivate them. The company has its own lingo to make sure everyone is "on the same page" however, it only managed to confuse people and cause breakdowns in communication. "Drills" were often performed where you would have to drop everything you are working on to focus on that one item only to never hear about it again. It was extremely disruptive and nothing ever seemed to come of them. Solera's management work 23 hours a day, but expect the same of you.

Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

The company has significant issues that make it difficult to recommend as a long-term workplace. HR support is virtually non-existent, leaving employees without meaningful assistance when concerns arise. Favoritism appears to influence decisions more than performance or merit, creating an unfair work environment. There are very few opportunities for career growth, and many employees find themselves in stagnant roles with little chance for advancement. Even when employees consistently exceed expectations and earn recognition, raises are infrequent or nonexistent, making it difficult to feel valued for hard work. Additionally, there is a noticeable lack of professionalism at the management level. Communication, accountability, and leadership standards need significant improvement. Overall, the company would benefit from investing in stronger leadership, a more effective HR department, and a culture that rewards performance fairly.
