Pros

Peers are good people

Cons

Terrible salary, misleading job descriptions. This a call center and a sales based job. They tell you that you can make up to 60k in your 2nd year, but there is not room for everyone to succeed. Management blows a lot of smoke to get low level employees to work hard for a terrible compensation structure, while they pocket the majority of the money. This was the most discouraging, stressful year of employment in my career. Employees are treated like untrustworthy children.

Pros

Job security, good coworkers, nice office

Cons

I'll say this, the people here are genuinely great, and that's the main reason I've stuck around as long as I have. But lately it's been hard to ignore everything else. Pay hasn't moved even though what's expected of us keeps growing, flexibility is basically gone at this point, and when changes happen (comp, structure, whatever) we usually find out after the fact with zero explanation. It's frustrating trying to do your job well when you're always a step behind on what's actually going on. And it's not just us feeling it either, leadership seems just as stretched and reactive, which doesn't exactly inspire confidence. Honestly, moving into a leadership role right now doesn't even feel worth it, you'd still be running a desk on top of managing people, with no real pay bump to show for it. There just isn't a clear path up anymore, and that's the part that's been getting to me most.
