Pros

Great people and culture. Lots of ability to use prior experience to build, create, and contribute to new opportunities. They encourage independent thinking, decision making, taking on responsibility, working independently and as part of a team. They believe in work/life balance and offer great benefits. I left for a more stable position that didn't require commission to make a high salary.

Cons

The learning curve can be steep and there's not a lot of upward movement within the company. The company has grown a ton in the last year or two, which makes it's hard to keep up with all of the new employees.

Thank you for your feedback! We've worked really hard to create and maintain a culture where colleagues enjoy coming to work. We love your suggestion about shrinking the company to make it feel smaller even though we're growing.

Pros

Loads of training. Cooperative environment and fun atmosphere. Opportunity to make a lot of money

Cons

Low starting pay. This is role better suited for someone that is straight out of college with no real bills or responsibilities

Pros

Job security, good coworkers, nice office

Cons

I'll say this, the people here are genuinely great, and that's the main reason I've stuck around as long as I have. But lately it's been hard to ignore everything else. Pay hasn't moved even though what's expected of us keeps growing, flexibility is basically gone at this point, and when changes happen (comp, structure, whatever) we usually find out after the fact with zero explanation. It's frustrating trying to do your job well when you're always a step behind on what's actually going on. And it's not just us feeling it either, leadership seems just as stretched and reactive, which doesn't exactly inspire confidence. Honestly, moving into a leadership role right now doesn't even feel worth it, you'd still be running a desk on top of managing people, with no real pay bump to show for it. There just isn't a clear path up anymore, and that's the part that's been getting to me most.
