Pros

You meet a lot of really cool people here and a lot of people that you stay friends for a long time even after they leave. They also do a good job of trying to redistribute their employees if they see are not doing a good job in a certain department but the employee needs to take the initiative when going into these meetings.

Cons

Retention can be an issue at the company. When the market is hot, you tend to see less turnover and when the market changes you can see more people being let go due to not hitting their quota.

Loads of training. Cooperative environment and fun atmosphere. Opportunity to make a lot of money

Low starting pay. This is role better suited for someone that is straight out of college with no real bills or responsibilities

Pros

Job security, good coworkers, nice office

Cons

I'll say this, the people here are genuinely great, and that's the main reason I've stuck around as long as I have. But lately it's been hard to ignore everything else. Pay hasn't moved even though what's expected of us keeps growing, flexibility is basically gone at this point, and when changes happen (comp, structure, whatever) we usually find out after the fact with zero explanation. It's frustrating trying to do your job well when you're always a step behind on what's actually going on. And it's not just us feeling it either, leadership seems just as stretched and reactive, which doesn't exactly inspire confidence. Honestly, moving into a leadership role right now doesn't even feel worth it, you'd still be running a desk on top of managing people, with no real pay bump to show for it. There just isn't a clear path up anymore, and that's the part that's been getting to me most.
