Pressure from department heads, Lots of losses vs. wins. Expect to learn as you go, delayed gratification, and burnout. In my interview, I asked about expectations for a work-life balance, and the manager said do not expect one for the first year.

Thank you for your review! We appreciate the opportunity to grow and welcome your feedback.
I'll say this, the people here are genuinely great, and that's the main reason I've stuck around as long as I have. But lately it's been hard to ignore everything else. Pay hasn't moved even though what's expected of us keeps growing, flexibility is basically gone at this point, and when changes happen (comp, structure, whatever) we usually find out after the fact with zero explanation. It's frustrating trying to do your job well when you're always a step behind on what's actually going on. And it's not just us feeling it either, leadership seems just as stretched and reactive, which doesn't exactly inspire confidence. Honestly, moving into a leadership role right now doesn't even feel worth it, you'd still be running a desk on top of managing people, with no real pay bump to show for it. There just isn't a clear path up anymore, and that's the part that's been getting to me most.
