Pros

Remote capabilities, somewhat flexible schedule (although it was unwritten expectations to work long hours) that's about it

Cons

overworked, miserable environment to work (even virtual!) (every single person on the team seemed absolutely miserable working there and it showed up all the time, it was difficult getting over toxic energy) promises were made when hired about direction of career path and of course I did not see follow through even after open communication and proven results, hence why I am no longer there. Also they use fear to manage so it's easy to become overwhelmed and if you don't have a strong sense of self you will begin to second guess and doubt your capabilities....it's disappointing because Somatus actually does have a wonderful mission in regards to innovative Kidney Care. unfortunately in my opinion this company falls under the list of companies that somewhere loses the governance that promotes an environment of true empowerment, successful collaboration and genuine team work.

Amazing team, makes you feel like you’re family. Pay is decent. All equipment provided. Flexibility Being able to interact with many people. Benefits are good and not expensive.

Cons

Constant changes are made sometimes feels like there’s not much thought to it.

Pros

Literally just the mileage checks.

Cons

Constant layoffs, 3 since I’ve been here for 2 years. Mangement doesn’t care about you or your home life. They want metrics and numbers. You harass people all day even when they’ve declined to verify hipaa and services. They have a whole department for these calls yet leave it to the PHAs on top of their daily work. Even when members say no, they make you harass them again in a few months so they can decline again, leading to getting cussed out and abused by these members. They have no communication with procedure changes and policies. They change every week. You find out until you’re audited. They assign you new regions or other people regions without notice. You go from a manageable panel to a ridiculous amount of patients and they still want you to travel 5/10x a week.
