Knowing that you departed Sonder before the impacts of COVID-19 were clear, it's understandable that you feel a lack of transparency around how we navigated our response to the situation — happy to lean in here: - Leadership had to make the incredibly difficult decision to layoff or furlough about 30% of our global workforce. Compassion, empathy and a commitment to upholding our mission is what guided us through this. - We're taking the necessary steps to support our employees (previous and current) as best we can. It's been inspiring to see our community rally around each other in solidarity and support; something we'll continue to champion. - Guests now have increased flexibility for all reservations made on Sonder.com.
