Pros

It pays about the same as any other factories. Benefits are passable. All you have to be is breathing to work there.

Cons

Management is worried about looking good for corporation more than the problems in the plant. Have to be a quick learner because training is poor & done on the fly. Lots of safety rules meant to protect them more than you. So much drama on the production floor it's hard to work. They have turned the team concept into do your lazy coworkers job. The older, harder workers are treated very poorly & expected to tolerate alot. Lines are in disarray & frantic most of the time. Some of the folks are nice & will try to train you right. Some are more into kissing up to the bosses. The harder you are willing to work, the more they put on you & the more you are blamed when things go wrong. So much overtime that you have little outside life. Expect to work holidays, you might get Christmas & New Years Day off, all the rest are work days if needed. Line leads are expected to do way to much. Stress from management to perform & be productive while working with people who are there to do as little as possible & get a check. When they say something about it, it's their attitude in question & told to try harder to make these people feel comfortable. They are whined to, fussed at, & cussed at, by line workers but aren't aloud to say anything. There is to much micro managing going on which creates alot of confusion.

Pros

The salary was good, and the people in the department I worked in were friendly

Cons

Politics at the company were tricky to navigate. Success was more about who liked you rather than merit. Bad behavior would go unaddressed if the person was liked
