Pros

- Good Environment, clean offices, free gym for full time employees, nice restaurants - Perks such as discounts on product and low food price within company grounds - Generally speaking, people are friendly and easy to approach, very respectful - Diverse compared to other studios such as WB and Disney - Good benefits, many choices - Bonuses to reward employees that go beyond the call of duty - More open environment for sharing ideas compared to other studios

Cons

- Nepotism and Favoritism is and will be the downfall of this company. If you're a family friend of a high level executive, you will get special treatment regardless of your experience and skill and ability to perform well, and no one dares to change this even if it's for the benefit of the company. The typical Hollywood stereotypes rings true here unfortunately. - Certain jobs have no growth opportunity regardless if you're a high performer - Generally speaking if you're good at your job, expect to be staying in your role for quite some time. Managers are more concerned about the business and image rather than their employee's happiness. - Top heavy in most divisions, too many chiefs and not enough Indians - Staff level employees get overworked and overloaded working long hours, while management does nothing about this

Pros

- began work with an amazing team and culture - exposure to major IP and high-profile campaigns - some genuinely talented and passionate colleagues - fast-paced environment that builds skills quickly - healthcare is decent - some fun on-lot perks

Cons

- poor work/life balance exceptions from SPTV lower and upper management - unmanageable workload left little room for the collaboration and meeting engagement leadership expected - upper management changes resulted in reactive restructuring with little regard for team culture or continuity - inconsistent management: some leaders failed to empower or advocate for their teams - clear office politics which interfere with business decisions - quick burnout when management fails to course-correct workload - leadership set workloads based on personal work style rather than sustainable team norms - little to no growth opportunities - 4 days in office is excessive and unnecessary
