Pros
Great opportunity to grow excel skills Resourceful and supportive operations peer group Good growing opportunity for fresh college grads who are looking for a 1-2 year job
Cons
-Inconsistent management -Poor pay/compensation for the workload & stress -Unfair treatment of operations staff compared to interpreting staff -Taking time off is a pain- you have to get a POC (from the pool of ops coordinators working in other cities) to cover duties for each of your centers before you can take off. -Ops turnover is high- They might hire you & pay you to work in one center but they'll eventually give you 1 or 2 more without compensation for the additional work -Absolutely no room for advancement -Very manual job- lots of data entry -Customer service oriented position that often involves begging and coddling grown adults. If this is not in your nature, don't apply
