Pros

Insurance benefits, discounts, hour lunch

Cons

Prior to the svp acquisition, I worked at the clinic for 5 years. We were like a family. Svp changed that. The current office manager only cares about numbers on a page with no regards to the well-being of the employees and patients that we care for. She not only allows the place to be understaffed and overbooked, resulting in burnt out staff, but she also verbally harasses and threatens employees on the daily, and gets away with it. Her attitude is almost like she can do anything and get away with it. The fact that there have been several complaints to HR about her and she still has her position continues to baffle me. It must be because corporate only cares about numbers, as well. They’ve lost the majority of their seasoned employees because of this office manager and the working conditions. They have almost an entirely brand new staff with no experience whatsoever, which is worrisome. I’ve contacted HR this week (for the second time) with serious threats that she’s made to staff and if she still has a job by the end of the week, then this will be my last week working for the company. I refuse to work for a company that allows their staff to be abused in this manner. If you care about your mental and physical well-being as well as that of your patients, do not work here because their values do not align with yours.
