This place seems to believe in the value of constantly firing people. I haven't worked there for a few months, but I am seeing former coworkers constantly looking for new jobs and seeing that they were involuntarily let go. Being there was stressful, the days with mass firings, or just the day to day of hearing who else was let go, it was hard to even focus on your job without being worried. It became a fend for yourself environment, which made it hard to bond with coworkers because people were always stressed.
Some managers were great, but others were terrible. It wasn't uncommon for you to be made to feel inadequate. You could be doing everything well and be praised for it, then just sudden change of heart and being told you weren't capable of doing your job. I had known several people being "let go" after no negative feedback, just someone changing their mind. It seemed that some of the managers were able to feel better about themselves by putting employees down - all around not ideal environment.
The pay was way below average - if they spent less money on the "perks" like ping pong tables and snacks and more in investing in their employees, the morale would be greatly improved. I don't know anybody that would prefer having a cooler of drinks over a decent paycheck.
