Pros
I really like my co-workers in the office. As a recruiting office we showed more professionalism and would had performed better if leadership had any integrity
Cons
Too many to list. The biggest con is the CEO Jacqueline Barton. She is the definition of a bad boss and not at all a leader. She does have a lot of experience in the business but has no ability to translate that experience onto her staff. At every turn she belittled her staff, including fellow officers, and temp staff. She always made it clear that the only thing she cared for is the bottom line and putting "bodies" in positions even if it was unsafe or the "body" was unqualified. In general, the internal workings of this company has no opportunity for development. It is a place where careers go to die. I'm sorry this is more of a rant, I could go into specifics and quantifiables but then this section could go on for days. Unfortunately the industry that surrounds South Bend is perfect for chop shop staffing agencies. If you can afford to stay away, please don't entertain getting an internal or external job with Specialized.
