Pros
If you're looking to work with food and liquor and want a discount for your party habits.
Cons
"Friends of friends" employment. Dysfunctional store management, "clique" socializing with staff. Managers "take" promotional incentive commissions from staff in many ways. No experience required to be hired and promoted above entry level cashier position if you know the manager or are part of the "party" crew at each store. Store managers party with younger staff off duty. No control over employees on duty. Lack of position respect. Most store staff under 30 years of age. Management and floor staff hang out of security camera view and socialize all shifts and ignore customers. Cashiers are left to answer questions, but cannot walk away from registers. (observed in several stores). No in-store advancement unless your part of the store's off hours "party crew". Work schedules are arranged to cater to manager's "favorites and friends." You'll work lots of closings and weekends both part-time and full-time, with little "fair" rotation regardless of performance. "Cookie-cutter" corporate controlled incentives and inventory. No demographic inventory changes, popular product always out of stock. Spec's private label spirits are not even a close comparison to premium spirits. Out of code food on shelves.
