Pros
The job is easy to pick up and there’s opportunities available if you’re looking to pursue them. Coworkers are mostly laid back and fun to be around, usually. Consistent hours and schedule.
Cons
Policies are not followed and get overlooked because the company would rather hold on to bad employees than risk terminating them and having to pay unemployment. Upper Management is very old school, biased, and stuck in their ways. Very judge mental to anyone who looks or acts differently. Only care about the numbers on paper and very rarely provide positive feedback to any of the employees. HR related issues are handled sloppily and slowly. There’s no incentive to stay long term with the company if you’re not looking to move up into management because they do not provide any type of raise or pay increase. Health insurance is provided but is too expensive for anyone working here to afford. Technology is constantly not working, runs slow, and prevents us from assisting customers. The company is CHEAP and refuses to upgrade technology and often times cancels supply orders because they don’t want the expense. Loss prevention is a nightmare and the stores get reprimanded for situations out of their control.
