Pros

Compensation and benefits are ok Opportunities to work on big projects

Cons

Upper management are very close minded, they want exactly what they want, with no flexibility. Your opinions do not matter. They don’t care about employees. WFH is not allowed even during the coronavirus outbreak. As a result, one employee came into the office after being at the same event with a confirmed coronavirus patient (the famous New Rochelle lawyer), even though he should be staying at home for at least 2 weeks based on health dept/CDC guideline. Charter is probably the only company of this size in NYC area that still does not allow WFH as of 3/18/20. The safety of employees mean nothing to them.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your concerns as we work together through these unprecedented times. As one of FEMA’s Community Lifeline sectors, our services are essential to hospitals, emergency first responders, government facilities, the news media and our communities to stay connected, help flatten the curve and protect the country. Making sure we deliver these vital communications while supporting our employees is our top priority. We recently made a number of changes to operations that will help employees better manage through this challenging time. These include an additional 15 days of PTO to be used for any COVID-19 related need, plus increased social distancing plans in all of our call centers and operations facilities and the option for remote work for employees whose jobs allow it without endangering our obligation to provide critical services. We thank you for all you are doing every day to support our customers and communities to ensure they remain both connected and safe.
