Pros
I don't know if the culture at a company could get any better. I have never seen such a mix of competence and chillaxity anywhere, nor could I have imagined one existed. Everyone trusts everyone. Senior leaders actually take vacation and encourage others to do so. Management genuinely cares about you as a person. Our clients love us. Everyone works super hard and is insanely good at what they do. Somehow, they have managed to have all these with a complete absence of bro/ hustle culture.
Cons
There's sometimes a bit too much optimism than would prefer. I know this would normally be considered an absolute good thing, but I personally prefer an environment where both good news and bad news is shared openly and without hesitation. Sometimes the bad news is couched in such optimistic terms that you have to think about it for a minute to realize that that was just bad news that got delivered. This is something strange to belong in the cons section, but for some it may be. It is my experience, and many others that I have privately spoken to, that we feel quite intimidated at the level of competence and depth of experience that everyone else here has. I have what I would consider an extremely strong resume with some of the most prestigious companies in the world. Despite this, I sometimes feel out of my depth during vigorous debates. Not because the management team isn't open-minded, but because during the conversation I realize that somehow they know everything that I know about the subject that I do and more, even though it's my area of expertise. If you have a personality type that is wanting to be a big fish in a small pond, don't be fooled by the size of this company. You may not feel comfortable.
