Pros

My team was great, loved the people I was working with. Unlimited PTO and benefits were nice as well. Working remote was great too.

Cons

Was promised a monthly bonus/commission, but removed it as soon as I started. Totally messed with my estimated pay I was told I'd receive. Higher ups also rejected half of my google review bonus payout. Growth within the company is also contingent on when student loans start up again, which sucked. Overall seemed like the higher execs didn't appreciate the work that loan consultants did. Even in meetings, we were not shown any love. Also, why would you have a company wide event at HQ then layoff 25% of company a month later. *We are hoping this event boosts working morale and increase productivity* some BS

Pros

I've had a great experience working at Splash. The company is majority remote and trusts employees to manage their work without excessive oversight. Leadership is approachable, transparent, and genuinely invested in the success of both the business and its employees. The mission is meaningful, the people are collaborative, and there are plenty of opportunities to contribute beyond your immediate role. The flexibility and work-life balance are among the best I've experienced.

Cons

Like any growing company, priorities can change quickly and teams need to be comfortable adapting. Processes are continually evolving, which can sometimes create ambiguity or require employees to help build structure as the company scales. If you're looking for a highly structured environment where every process is already established, this may not be the right fit.
