Pros

Smart people on a mission to deliver best in class enterprise software solutions to our growing customer base. Excellent communications from corporate, solid marketing, solid training & go to market strategies to enhance our ability to execute in the field.

Cons

comp plan: please don't penalize your people by withholding income on the first 50% of quota attainment. It's not fair to those who are accustomed to overachieving but still need to pay their bills during the first 2 quarters of the year. Also, make the compensation easier to understand. There's a great deal of complexity that goes into how we get compensated.

Great company with a postivie non-toxic winning culture You can make a LOT of money here and you get great exposure across the greater Cisco org

Cons

For this role spacifically, commission is capped so that's a bit of a bummer but the good thing is there are always Spiffs to go over the cap

Great compensation and time off. No micromanagement. Great product that's known for its strength and solid brand

Cons

Lack of definitive direction with Cisco and old and outdated game plan. Competitors have caught up and sometimes surpassed Splunk leaving Splunkers looking for a new strategy; very small territories, incompetent hires in some management roles
