Pros
-RSUs -Good pay -weekly lunch -benefits including discounted health insurance, education, etc
Cons
-Male manager has no empathy or respect for female employee’s privacy or personal space. You have to tell him all the details about OB GYN appointments/test results etc., so that he can approve for your sick leave. Micromanagement all the time by staring at your screen or having constant random check-ins. Must report the details if you had conversations with another team. No interactions with other departments are allowed without his permission. Tons of pressure and negativity going to work. -Toxic backstabbing culture is trickling down to all management levels. Can’t work from home, because mid-level managers told you so. Because they want to please Executives. Super political, mid-level managers constantly suck up to the E-staffs by having absurd requests from the team/employees. -Management level always take credits for others’ work to get themselves promotions, without even showing any gratitude to team members. Also they like people who talk big only instead of those who did the actual work. They don’t appreciate real hard work. Don’t be surprised if your credits all got taken by your manager & director. -Tons of really good talents already left, many more are planning to leave. People who stay usually are very old or old enough to retire. (Avg. age is 45+...) You will always be at disadvantage if you are in 20s. DON’T come if you are younger than 35, you won’t have a promising future here.
