Pros

- some good teams - excellent compensation - great product

Cons

- career ending technology in core enterprise - awful program management. no idea of how to do agile/scrum - re-org almost every year. new management comes in, screws up, gets fired, and the cycle continues. Extremely demoralizing. I think most experience Splunk now just kick back, do the bare minimum, and go home. Please wake us up when you have figured what you are trying to do.

Pros

Great company with a postivie non-toxic winning culture You can make a LOT of money here and you get great exposure across the greater Cisco org

Cons

For this role spacifically, commission is capped so that's a bit of a bummer but the good thing is there are always Spiffs to go over the cap

Pros

Great compensation and time off. No micromanagement. Great product that's known for its strength and solid brand

Cons

Lack of definitive direction with Cisco and old and outdated game plan. Competitors have caught up and sometimes surpassed Splunk leaving Splunkers looking for a new strategy; very small territories, incompetent hires in some management roles
