Pros
-best culture, very caring, people are great and everyone is super friendly and down to answer questions and help you even if it's not part of their job description -amazing combination of passion and hard work + the understanding that work!=life, people are really human and understanding and care for each other -technical product that is pretty cool and easy to root for, feels like you're making an impact -I was laid off due to covid impacts, but I am really missing the people there. I miss Splunk!
Cons
-roll out processes without clear instructions or how to handle conflicts/implications -shifts in priority/direction -many red herrings and wrenches thrown into the work in plans because of unclear communication and what the company should be prioritizing as a whole, different teams had different sets of priorities which were misaligned, making it difficult or to resolve dependencies -processes lagging behind cloud- first initiatives -scs (new cloud platform) undergoing constant leadership and direction changes resulting in nothing being delivered, products being pulled from the market weeks before or weeks after launch despite brilliant and hard working teams and cool technology is frustrating
