      Pros

      Product: many many large companies have no idea what they would do without the ability to search through their data using Splunk People: I've met some of the brightest people while at Splunk. I've really appreciated growing with them. The comp packages attract some of the most strategic thinkers. Comp: one of the highest paying tech companies in the bay area Culture: Splunkers have some of the best dad jokes I've ever seen. If you don't have a sense of humor, its going to be a rough time.

      Cons

      Typical large org politics at times. Lots of migration work to make sure we are a cloud first company brings large challenges.

      Pros

      Great company with a postivie non-toxic winning culture You can make a LOT of money here and you get great exposure across the greater Cisco org

      Cons

      For this role spacifically, commission is capped so that's a bit of a bummer but the good thing is there are always Spiffs to go over the cap

      Great compensation and time off. No micromanagement. Great product that's known for its strength and solid brand

      Cons

      Lack of definitive direction with Cisco and old and outdated game plan. Competitors have caught up and sometimes surpassed Splunk leaving Splunkers looking for a new strategy; very small territories, incompetent hires in some management roles
