Pros

The fake reviews on glassdoor are awesome. They make this place seem great!!!

Cons

Apply if you answer yes to any of the following: * Succeed in an culture based off of fear and suppression? Then this is the place for you! * Apply If you love to see the most incompetent, dumbest, and non-knowledgeable middle management somehow get promotions while the competent get pushed out. * Allergic to technological innovation? * Micromanagers apply NOW. * Hate a diverse culture? * Love maintaining a legacy stack? Tips to succeed at Spokeo: * The more you complain and finger point the better off you are. It deflects any criticism of you or your team onto another team. This is key to survive and succeed at the chaotic and toxic Spokeo office. * Be non-female. All female leads and managers has been pushed out. * Make sure you bring your 'A' game for office politics. * Be nice to EVERYONE but stab them in the back to higher ups when convenient. * DO NOT TRUST ANYONE (I can’t stress this enough)!!! * Physically be at your desk later than everyone else. Higher ups love when people stay late. Wait, what flex hours? * Make sure you stay out of the executive’s radar. The more they know about you and what you are doing the worse off you are.

Pros

I worked on the email team a millennia ago, not sure if it still exists today. It was a fun job not answering calls. Very small biannual raises, maybe a quarter or two increase an hour. They reward seniority and tenure. Actually, it's one of the reasons why I left, couldn't stomach seeing some of the leadership day-in-day-out. One of the team leads couldn't contain his energy whenever he was provided attractive female customer service agents to supervise, tried to put on alpha-ish displays and wore small tight shirts. Kind of created a weird aggro morale for his team, even promoted several times up to executive office for some reason. BUT thankfully, my coworkers were awesome!! This was definitely a temporary job for someone in between careers, there were lots of unique personalities, lots of snacks, company events, so I'd say the morale team (yes one of those existed) did a pretty good job.

Cons

Whoops, just read the above
