Pros
- The unlimited PTO is accepted, and you don't have to feel guilty. - Culture, if you take it with a grain of salt, is pretty good. Don't get soaked up into their mantras too much, and protect your time, but Spreetail does try to create a community. They just sell it too hard sometimes, and forget the other stuff that makes employees happy like fair compensation. - Managers are kind, but not the most skilled.
Cons
- Leaders aren't held accountable to their promises - Greedy, expanding over taking care of their employees - Management kind of recycle material, and aren't very visionary. Directors, especially seem to just be floating by and not really taking a strong charge on any one particular thing. I really wish they had some visionaries in this company because there are nice people here just needs stronger leadership. - CTO isn't really a CTO. Knows a few financial terms, but seems far too inexperienced and doesn't have enough engineering guidance. - Lots of managers will tell you that they coded or did engineering a long time ago, but those stories seem pretty irrelevant and seem to be used to gain respect from engineers. Speaking as an engineer, I think we just like to see someone who actually in present time knows how engineering works.
