Pros
If you are lucky enough to be a full-time employee, Stanford takes you well-being very seriously. As a full-time employee I got a 403b plan where Stanford matched your contributions up to (I think it was) 2% quality health insurance, dental insurance, access to the gym for free, reduced price gym classes, a Caltrain pass, and cash incentives for using the Caltrain pass rather than driving and parking, as well as for engaging and logging in healthy activities (totaling several hundred dollars a year).
Cons
If you need to drive and park, it looks like the parking lots get contested. Otherwise, I have nothing but praise for Stanford University.
