Pros

- Worked with some genuinely good and knowledgeable people. - Gained valuable experience and exposure to a variety of projects.

Cons

- Team leads and management often showed favoritism, which negatively affected morale and opportunities within the team. - Workloads were frequently excessive, and repeated requests for assistance often went ignored until employees became burned out or started leaving. - Employee support and resource allocation felt reactive instead of proactive. - Compensation and salary increases were disappointing. Even after receiving positive feedback and praise for strong performance, obtaining something as small as a 2% raise felt unnecessarily difficult. - Overall, the work-life balance and recognition did not match the expectations associated with a company of Stantec’s size and reputation.

Pros

You will be working with great minds. People have their niches expertise and it’s wonderful to learn from them. Very professional and respectful behavior. Doesn’t feel like other consulting firms where you’re worked like a dog.

Cons

Sometimes it’s hard to build consistent work because people tend to hold on to their projects rather than transferring to junior staff and it’s mainly because the pressure to be billable is high.
