Pros
It is a publicly traded firm that is actually a holding company of twenty smaller firms which promotes individual agendas and an unwillingness to share resources if it ostensibly benefits another office and not its own.
Cons
Very fragmented firm. The previous companies that Stantec acquired each retain its own culture resulting in over 100 internal fiefdoms protecting client relationships and willingness to share resources. Its the reason for its underperforming stock price.
