Pros
Pretty light in terms of specific POS traffic at my location, customers always came in with a wide variety of needs. The cross training between departments gives you a more full understanding of the operations of the store and allows you to help out your coworkers as needed and helps with forward growth in the company.
Cons
The cross training often leads to understaffing so rushes would turn more into (c)rushes sometimes. Understaffing also opened a lot of windows for shoplifters and scammers to take advantage of the store.
