Pros
One of the few jobs I've had where the managers actually felt like real people and not robotic corporate avatars. The store manager when I was there seemed to genuinely understand my position and there's a feeling of mutual respect regardless of position. I liked doing print production.
Cons
Customers are absolutely insane. I had one who expected us to break our printer forcing incompatible label paper through it. Other issues stem from this and it results in high turnover and a pretty stressful environment. The sheer number of customers who didn't know how to or refused to email their files to us was baffling. Some people would default to shoving their phones in my hand so I could do it for them. Pay sucked.
