Pros

Easy enough job, you become intimately familiar with the machines very quickly and what they can/cannot do. Worked with an excellent team of other CPC associates who made themselves available even off hours to answer questions. Project-to-project oriented work, so if you like having things neat, orderly, and try to do things as efficiently as possible, this is a good place for you. You also benefit from a sense of self-satisfaction from just plain out doing a good job on someone's printing request.

Cons

Hours are terrible, maxing out at 20 hours a week and absolutely no chance of becoming full-time. Very few benefits and very little flexibility if for personal issues (I.E. sick days). Management is hawkish, and treats any single customer complaint as completely your fault and can throw you off morally, but can also ruin your hours and how you get treated; which isnt very good to begin with. Most difficult part of the job is multitasking, communicating with your CPC team, and CPCs frequent technical problems. Customers looking for simple copies is a rarity, and you will frequently be pulled away from jobs you must baby sit with deadline to help new walkins which can be a nightmare if you get a solo shift. Also, if another CPC team member takes in an order and neglects to tell you about it, you can end up being the one holding the bag when an angry customer comes in looking for a completed project. Most of the machines are also very old, some of mine were at least 10 years old, making them very delicate and tricky to use; assuming your Management has ordered the paper to supply said machines.

Pros

Good to get experience as a first job

Cons

Small store so there's only 4 people working at a time. Gets hectic during busy seasons and the manager typically hides in the backroom.
