Pros
Love you, Della! you're still one of my favorite managers I've ever worked under. It is a great job for students and those who want managerial roles Your teammates and managers will make or break your experience. I worked at a top store in the area and a store that had to close. The Bethesda store was my favorite! management is always being squeezed to do more for less but most of my teams and managers were helpful and resourceful and worked together to meet goals. The other stores had younger crews that didn't care as much.
Cons
The insurance and tech service was garbage they charged too much, promised too much they couldn't deliver. They expected us to just sell sell and sell to the detriment of our customers and our ability to retain them. They are losing money in a lot of departments except for print and copy so the rest have to make it up by selling junk insurance and warranties. I luckily had tech experience so I found myself doing a lot of the fixing.
