At my particular store, i had been there so long that i was familiar with all the various processes and etc. The flexible schedule and freedom allowed me to pursue other goals like school, gym and side hustles with out major conflict.
Cons
Corporate management doesn't appreciate a good employee when they see one, as a store manager, when I notice an employee is valuable i always show my appreciation and give them the benefit of the doubt, but as you can see from my title, I was fired after an altercation with a customer who assaulted me because the company took the customer's side. I was completely blindsided and shocked when they made their decision. What shocked me even more was the amount of support i recieved from employees and customers in the situation, and the company still made their decision final.
