Cool technology, horrible job - Operations Assistant Starship Technologies Employee Review

-Ridiculous interview process for a low-skill, low-paying job (3 video interviews, 1 'case study', and a month for a call back). -Job duties are vague - precisely because HR and higher ups have no clue what the position does, they just know we handle the grunt work. They use the robots as a lure, this job is not 'high-tech' in any fashion. -You have to virtually correspond (chat) with people in Europe in order to get the most basic of tasks completed, even if you could have done it yourself. -The fallibility of technology in general can make for a frustrating work environment. When both the robots and the apps used to control them are malfunctioning, there is literally nothing you can do. -No culture, no direction, no leadership, and no vision. Passing the buck is common here, as is having to use workaround solutions that just cause more problems later. No one is interested in fixing problems, just prolonging them.
