Pros

There used to be many but now it is the benefits and pay and the recent switch to PTO has afforded newer employees a little more time off.

Cons

So many changes due to corporate restructuring has diminished most all reasons for wanting to work there. Lack of flexibility, one can't get a schedule that works for their life. You cannot get time off even though you have earned the time off as there is no capacity per the schedule to take off. You can not get a week off. You can maybe get a few days mid week but that is about it. You work most all holidays. You go on a waiting list if your time off request is not approved and they can tell you the day before after you have gone home for the day that you have now been finally approved. How can anyone make vacation plans like that?

Pros

(At the time) Fair pay and predictable bonus structure They were pretty good at covering travel expenses and paying them back quickly Diverse workforce & diversity initiatives Fun and funny coworkers Opportunities for growth Again, this was all four years ago and has likely changed

Cons

(At the time and now, according to other comments) Arrogant to a fault Total lack of innovation & willingness to innovate Odd attachment to the company's past (which prevents progress) High number of veterans (20+ years) who are determined to get that retirement money, and therefore, are resistant to change and technology Heavy reliance on command and control management style Poor decision-making that leads to losses of all kinds
