Pros

it’s good job stability , a steady paycheck, but horrible micromanagement in CCC Service.

Cons

you’re monitored all day down to the minute. if you’re taking a dump for 5 mins outside of a break or lunch, it counts against you. if you need 2 minutes in between calls to regain yourself after a tough call, it counts against you. if you go one minute over your break, it counts against you. If you get stuck in a call right before your lunch, it counts against you. All this preaching about schedule adherence with nearly impossible goals. Constantly told to use “down time” or “in between” calls as development time and educational time, when down time is nearly nonexistent as you are taking phone calls legitimately back to back to back for hours on end because they constantly give out voluntary time off which leaves the Customer Care Center understaffed. Also, i was fired as soon as i requested bereavement leave for a departed close family member that i said i could provide proof for. i already had attendance issues(which i take full responsibility for) but the fact they chose that exact moment to fire me was a little odd.

Pros

(At the time) Fair pay and predictable bonus structure They were pretty good at covering travel expenses and paying them back quickly Diverse workforce & diversity initiatives Fun and funny coworkers Opportunities for growth Again, this was all four years ago and has likely changed

Cons

(At the time and now, according to other comments) Arrogant to a fault Total lack of innovation & willingness to innovate Odd attachment to the company's past (which prevents progress) High number of veterans (20+ years) who are determined to get that retirement money, and therefore, are resistant to change and technology Heavy reliance on command and control management style Poor decision-making that leads to losses of all kinds
