Pros

The main pros of working within Corporate Audit were the people and the flexible work from home arrangement. You can definitely get to know the people within the department and actually spend time with them outside of work. Working from home was also great!

Cons

I agree with some previous reviews regarding the department; this place is a joke if you want a meaningful & fulfilling career. Most people that stick around for a while are there to get a steady paycheck and get titles. There is absolutely zero appreciation for the work that needs to be done. No innovation or thinking outside of the box. The audit programs are mind-blowingly rigid. Audit in itself is not for everyone, however working here will definitely epitomize the negative aspects to the profession. Also, if you think audit would be a great place to pivot to an interesting middle/front office role within the company?! Nope, this is not the place! You're only destined for compliance roles! Focus your efforts elsewhere. Compensation here is also a joke. The company is crazy stingy but I can't blame them, they're in a low margin business. Raises barely keep up with inflation and bonuses are minuscule.

Pros

Own book runner and strategy. Good work life balance. Good working environment and nice people to work together

Cons

No much growth. Promotion to VP or higher is even forbidden based on company policy. Instead, ask people to move to different role. It doesn't make a lot of sense since it encourage people to find a new job.

Pros

The company has a great severence package. Unfortunately thats a pro because they are laying off workers every 3 months until most of operations are offshore. Decent 401k match and vacation.

Cons

Layoffs, pay is low. Return to office mandate.
