      Incompetent and evil VP in StepStone Real Estate (London) - Associate StepStone Group Employee Review

      Pros

      1. Lots of GPs asking for capital and they will tell you everything they want you to know 2. The firm has access to many different pots of money to fund a deal. 3. Senior Management is knowledgeable about their work and has good deal management skills.

      Cons

      1. One of the VPs in the real estate group who joined in 2023 in London office is totally incompetent of his job and also a very evil person who will do whatever it takes to advance his own personal interest including threatening junior employees verbally in a meeting room so senior management does not know what he does. Some junior employees have left their employment because of this person.

      Pros

      StepStone is an incredibly welcoming environment to work in. There are amazing leaders and opportunities for success here. Continuous support is offered along with opportunities to form relationships across teams and asset classes.

      Working with teams in multiple time zones can sometimes become difficult on fast moving deals

      -nice team: most of the team is kind - small-mid size company: you are able to work with the head of marketing a lot. -good pay compared to other marketing internships

      Cons

      - very mundane tasks like updating headshots, counting corporate swag - rarely offers return for marketing
