Pros

Used to be pretty fast paced and would provide you with the opportunity to be a part of process improvement.

Cons

There is no strategy for internal teams, there is a lack of strong leadership. I'm not sure what happened, but it really aligns with the Shred-it Acquisition...After Steri acquired Shred-it, nothing's been the same. The culture team we built up fell apart, our engagement scores went WAY down and there doesn't seem to be leadership at the VP and above level that have the interest in turning it around. It's like we are just keeping the ship a float. Do your job, don't ask questions, don't make it better. This is not the Stericycle that I used to be so proud of.

When we merge two great companies and brands into one, there are definitely going to be some growing pains. I promise that the company and HR cares. Continuous Improvement is one of our core values. We need to constantly be on that path so we can get better. Don't put your head down! Get out there and take risks! Share your ideas on how to improve. :-) It takes all of us to protect the culture we have created. We get a lot of comments on the survey that are vague and don't provide details on what needs to be addressed. We'd love to hear your suggestions on how to improve. Remote opportunity. All equipment is provided by the company. Great mentorship and training.

Cons

Strict metrics & Low pay.

Pros

The diversity of employees...thats it.

Cons

Burn & Churn. Managers are lazy and so far removed from the employees and sales areas that they have no clue what the market will bear. Shredding services is in its twilight years; by 2033 it will more than likely become non existent due to the cloud and digital storage. The health insurance is with one of the worst bad reputation companies out there. If the company cared about its employees they would have made a better choice. I do not recommend to work there unless you want to get sales training which is provided when you start there.
