Managers did not abide by the dress code yet cracked down on employees. During training I was instructed to not submit work unless approved by a manager but none of the managers had time to approve work. Breaks at your desk were not allowed. Restroom breaks required managerial approval. When managers conducted employee reviews they lacked constructive coaching. A manager sent a cryptic mass email about someone gossiping about her. I recall once when we had gone out as a team for happy hour, the manager made me uncomfortable by baiting employees to say unkind things about other managers. I think she was trying to figure out who was gossiping about previous mentioned manager but was met with confusion and avoidant conversation by staff. It was extremely inappropriate and manipulative behavior.
