Pros
Great culture, the company is very supportive (likely dependent on office location and colleagues). Work life balance is top notch allowing for flow to meet clients in person or any other activities needed on any given day. No required meetings that waste time and effort. Social events are well put together and communicated well in advance.
Cons
If you are a new advisor be realistic with yourself that the percentage of making it as a Financial Advisor is already quite low around 10%. Stifel's training program is flat out not good, they only "train" on succession planning if you are joining a parent or family member. If you don't fit this bill I would highly suggest not pursuing the path of being a Financial Advisor or if you are dying to go this route and feel it is your true calling in life find another firm that provides resources and training for advisors who do not have an existing book of business.
