Pros

flexible schedule. But you'll only be successful if you work during the weekdays.

Cons

Ok, here we go: You cannot live on what you get paid. And you NEVER get a raise. Your good performance does not get rewarded. You get a pin for your time with the company. Who wants a pin? Save the environment and don't send out tchotchkes. This is not a women supporting women environment. You are the lowest man on the totem pole and are ignored when you have comments or concerns that aren't positive. The emails that go out to clients with cute seasonal outfits are a lie. We never have those items in stock. I'm not sure that we even carry some of the items at all ever. Calls with management are so so fake. Everyone who wants to be promoted acts overly excited and it's very transparent. Management sounds like pre-programmed robots. They use the same lingo that we are all supposed to use. It's almost creepy how exactly similar the emails are that one Lead sends their team and another Lead sends to their team. They throw the word "kind" around so much that it has lost its meaning. If you have a complaint, you aren't being kind. If you disagree with something, you aren't being kind. Clients tear you apart in feedback if you don't send what they want or send something that they hate. I mean, they can be so nasty. But what clients probably don't know is that we just don't have the inventory to send them and we only have 10 to figure it out. Oh, and if you want to work on the weekend, you will fail at the job because there is even less inventory than if you worked during the week. The company's "innovation" is only making it harder to create personalized Fixes. So between no raise, no voice, no creativity, no inventory, mean clients, fake management, I'd pass on this job.

Pros

You are able to work from home

Cons

Very unmotivating work environment. You get a couple of small raisies when you first start but then they cut off raises and expect you to perform at 100% efficiency 100% of the time. There is no motivation to do so. You are basically chained to you desk while you style because everything you do is timed. They provide no tools or stipend for the items you need in order to work from home. No internet stipend, nothing towards your computer, I never even got a pencil after being there 5 years. You have little no interaction with other people. The inventory is poor. Management is always turning over. I think I had about 8 different managers over my 5 years there. They mico manage you. You would think styling would be a creative job but not here. You don't even get to write your own note to a client anymore. AI writes it and you pretty much have to go that route bc you have about 8 minutes to style a client to stay within your efficiency goals. Overall its great that you can work from home but the job is extremely unmotivating and not rewarding. There is no room for advancement. DO yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This is not the company or culture you want.
